Luxury

Built by the East India Company and later acquired by Maharaja Prabhu Narain Singh sometime in the 19th century, the Nadesar Palace in Varanasi has housed distinguished royals over the years and has today been converted into a small hotel with merely 10 rooms and suites. Though it is nestled within the bigger and grander Taj Ganges Hotel, it is a distinct hotel in by itself, and is a slice of calm in the cacophony that is Varanasi.

Surrounded by fields, guest rooms are intricately furnished, taking one back to the era in which it was built. Heritage four-poster beds, spacious marbled bathrooms, separate living rooms and dressing areas redefine luxury. The bathrooms even come with separate shower cubicles and regal bathtubs. The hotel prides itself in its exceptional service and butlers are available around the clock to fulfil the guests every desire. Meals can be served in any of the pretty balconies or terraces, in your room or in the enormous dining room itself, depending on the guest’s need of privacy. The Palace also has a small outdoor pool to overcome the heat, a yoga room and a Jiva spa that has three rooms specifically for treatment.
