Dating back to the Dynasty of King Vikram Dev, this city has a lot of historical significance in this region. The key attraction here are the three Hill Temples, i.e., the Lord Shiva temple, the Swami Vivekananda Temple and the famous Lord Jagannath Temple. Each one of these is located on three different hilltops in different directions of the town. The scenic surroundings of this city offer you great sights of the hills in all sides.

Many of the other temples in this region go back centuries and highlight the rich history of this region. Other must visit attractions are the sights of the Kolab and the Machkund dam which is known generate electricity for the entire state.
