The validity of a full course of vaccination will be one year.<\/p>\n<p>All travelers from the Republic of Kenya to India will be required to carry with them a written record of vaccination (Patient-retained record) for polio, preferable using the IHR 2005 <i>International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis<\/i>, from a hospital or centre administering OPV, authorized by Government of the Republic of Kenya.<\/p>\n<p>This requirement will be effective from <b>14<sup>th<\/sup> February 2014<\/b> for entry into India.<\/p>\n<p>Please be guided accordingly&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Source:: Indian Association of Tour Operators<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of India has decided that all travelers to India, children as well as adults, from the Republic of Kenya need to have completed a full course of vaccination against polio, preferably with Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV), and should receive an additional dose of OPV at least six (6) weeks before each international journey.
