The lord of the jungle is indeed the elephant and not the tiger as many believe. Forests of South India are well known for their elephant populations, which roam freely with other animals like tiger, leopard, gaur, monkeys and deer.


Day 01
Arrive Delhi International airport. Met by India Calling representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02
Breakfast. Morning tour of New Delhi a creation of the British architecture Sir Edwin Lutyens – visiting India Gate, Parliament House, President’s Palace, thereafter visit Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutab Minar. Afternoon tour of the walled city of Shahjehanabad visiting Raj Ghat, red Fort proceed to Chandini Chowk visit Jama Masjid. Return to hotel via tour of Birla Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03
Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight Bangalore. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting Lal Bagh, Cubbon park, Vidhan Soudha, Fort and Nandi temple. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 04
Breakfast. Proceed to Mysore enroute visit Palace, St. Philimena’s Church, Silk factory. Evening visit the illuminated Brindavan Garden. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05
Breakfast. Proceed to Nagarhole National Park. Check-in at the Lodge. Afternoon game viewing. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 06
Breakfast. Morning and evening game viewing. Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 07
Breakfast. Proceed to Bangalore. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08
Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight to Cochin. Proceed to Thekkadi check-in at Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Afternoon Boat cruise on Lake Periyar for game viewing.

Day 09
Breakfast. Nature walk in the jungles and game viewing. Overnight in the Sanctuary.

Day 10
Breakfast. Nature walk in the jungles and game viewing. Overnight in the Sanctuary.

Day 11
Breakfast and proceed to Cochin. Check-in at the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12
Breakfast. City tour visiting Old Jewish town and Mattancherry Synagogue, Churches, Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Palace. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13
Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon ctiy tour visiting Museum, Mani Bhawan, Mahalaxmi Temple, Hanging Garden, Kamla Nehru Park, Marine Drive and Crawford Market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14
Breakfast. In time transfer to airport for onward flight.
