This tour provides a unique reflection of India’s cultural heritage of
the Neolithic era at Bhimbetka, the grandeur of medieval 16th and 17th
century temples of Orcha, Bhojpur, a heritage of great civilization
founded in 1010 AD. The caves of Bhimbetka, and UNESCO declared “World
Heritage” site, contains 500 natural caves with a large collection of
paintings depicting the life of pre-historic cave dwellers from the
Neolithic age.

Day 01
Arrive Delhi. Transfer to hotel.
Day 02
Breakfast. Drive to Agra. On arrival check-in at hotel. Afternoon
visit Taj Mahal and Agra fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03
Breakfast. Drive to Gwalior. On arrival check-in to the hotel. Visit
Gwalior fort, Tansen’s Tomb, Jai Vilas Palace and Museum, Telika Mandir.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 04
Breakfast. Drive to Orcha enroute visit Datia and Jhansi. On arrival
check in to the hotel. Afternoon visit the 16th & 17th century Orcha
Temples on the river Betwa. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05
Breakfast. Drive to Bhopa enroute visit Shivpuri. On arrival check in
to the hotel.
Day 06
Breakfast. Visit Taj-ul-Masjid ( India’s biggest mosque), Fort and
Museum. Thereafter proceed for a tour of the Buddhist sites of Sanchi
and Udaygiri Caves. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07
Breakfast. Day trip to Ujjain – A major Hindu Pilgrimage, ancient
ruins and site of the Kumbh Mela once in 12 years. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08
Breakfast. Day trip to Bhojpur – a heritage of great civilisation
founded in 1010AD, richly carved
temple of Lord Shiv at bhojeswar. Proceed to Bhimbetka, a world heritage
site, visit the Neolithic pre-historic Cave with vibrant frescos and
paintings. Transfer to Bhopal railway station for train to Delhi. On
arrival transfer to airport to board onward flight for home.
