Legend states that the city was once the location of Indraprastha, the capital of the Pandava clan. Delhi is home to 1,200 heritage structures, over 175 historical monuments and is a major travel hub.

Activities

Trip to India Representative will you on arrival and transfer to pre-booked hotel.

Following day transfer to railway station to board train.

  • 0800 Welcome & check-in formalities at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station at
  • 0800 hrs onwards.
  • 0930 The Maharajas' Express proceeds for Agra
  • 1000 Brunch onboard
  • 1405 Arrive into Agra
  • 1430 Proceed to visit the Taj Mahal
  • 1900 Return to the comfort of Maharajas' Express OR You can choose optional activity Mohabbat The Taj Show.

Home to 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort, the city of Agra throngs with tourists all year round. Reminiscent of the glory that was once the Mogul Empire, this city is seeping in history and gorgeous architecture.

  • 0700 Proceed to visit the Agra Fort or You may choose optional activity to visit Itmad-Ud-Daula.
  • 0930 Return to the comfort of Maharajas' Express. Breakfast Onboard.
  • 0945 Maharajas' Express proceeds to Sawai Madhopur.Lunch on board.
  • 1415 Upon arrival in Sawai Madhopur Proceed for an exciting Game Drive at Ranthambore National Park.
  • 1715 Return to the comfort of Maharajas' Express.
  • 1900 Enjoy an Indian Evening followed by dinner as The Maharajas' Express leaves for Jaipur

  • 0900 Proceed to visit the Amber Fort or you may also choose the optional activities such as spa facilities at a palace hotel OR private shopping tour OR golfing at Rambagh Golf Club OR visit to City Palace & The Observatory (Jantar Mantar)
  • 1230 Return to the comfort of Maharajas' Express.
  • 1330 Lunch on-board
  • 1715 Proceed to City Palace/Jai Mahal Palace for an exclusive Elephant Activity where guests may choose to indulge in to paint them, feed them or take a joy ride followed by dance performance and dinner.
  • 2100 Return to the comfort of Maharajas' Express.
  • 2300 The Maharajas' Express leaves for Delhi
