The diverse city of Kochi that is an urban jungle but yet has pockets of local culture is a cosmopolitan city to visit in Kerala. A place of financial importance as it houses one of the largest commercial ports of India, the city with its embracing nature and sense of familiarity.

Guided tour of city to visit St. Francis Church, one of the oldest surviving colonial structures in India where the remains of Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama were housed for nearly 14 years before being transferred to Lisbon followed by Dutch palace, a former maharaja palace, today, it is best known for mythological mural paintings and houses a portrait gallery of Maharajas of Kochi and Chinese fishing nets.A cultural dance drama by Kathakali Dance performers will form the crescendo of the day.

Munnar is a picturesque town set in the Western Ghats mountain range at a staggering 5,200 ft above sea level. The city is based at a convergence of three beautiful rivers, namely the Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly. It is aptly named, as the name Munnar signifies the convergence of three rivers. The captivating hill station in Kerala is the perfect retreat where people can get close to nature.

Activities

Three days in Munnar you will visit Eravikulam National Park to rub shoulders with the exotic wildlife of this region. This national park is widely known for housing elusive and endangered NilgiriTahr. This national park offers magnificent views of tea gardens and undulating misty hills as well as great opportunities for trekking.Following your wildlife excursion is visit to Anamudi Peak which is the highest peak in south India and is located inside the Eravikulam National Park Later you will visit old Munnar town and Mattupetty Dam. Located 13 kilometers away from Munnar, Mattupetty Dam is a popular picnic spot in Munnar set in the backdrop of a beautiful lake. Encompassed by Shola forests, wooden hills and tea plantations, Mattupetty is an ideal spot for trekking and bird watching

The charismatic beach town of Kovalam beckons to tourists visiting Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The travel hub that is situated on the banks of the Arabian Sea is characterized by a spate of coconut trees. It gets its name from the signature coconut groves that loosely translate to mean Kovalam. The Regents of Travancore in 1920 played a big part in making the quaint fishing village become known as the fabulous beach town it is today.
