RV Charaidew Cruise Boat

Designed to carry passengers across the Brahmaputra for long distance voyages, the RV Charaidew was in 2003 totally rebuilt and renovated in its present form, using eco-friendly materials and locally sourced handicrafts. Each of the dozen AC cabins situated on the upper deck includes all encompassing en-suite bathrooms and fantastic built-in-wardrobes. The 38m long cruise ship also offers the finest drinking accompaniments to meals which include Indian and International fare and the avant-garde chefs cater to personal preferences and dietary restrictions with joy.

There is a lot to do on deck with people enjoying cards, Scrabble sets and movies on show, after the sun sets, and during the day, guests can visit a spacious saloon that overlooks the bows or the library offering an endless supply of books or watch the sun hit the waves while enjoying a round of drinks at the in-house bar. Upstairs, there is a sun deck with ample seating, both for sunbathing and enjoying a cuppa in the shade, which along with beer and soft drinks, is always available at the honesty bar. While on the journey, one can enjoy elephant rides, village walks and minibus excursions at the different ports and the on-board naturalist familiarizes visitors with the passing birdlife.
