Legend states that the city was once the location of Indraprastha, the capital of the Pandava clan. Delhi is home to 1,200 heritage structures, over 175 historical monuments and is a major travel hub.

Visit the impressive Red Fort and Humayuns Tomb, Jama Masjid, Qutab Minar, India Gate, Lotus Temple; explore Chandini Chowk, the Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat; Parliament Museum, National Museum, Bangla Sahib - Sikh Temple; experience cultural and ethnic diversity at the colorful 'Dilli Haat', an open-air food plaza cum craft bazaar.

Travelers can inspect the origins of the celebrated Kangra School of painting in the village and also indulge in adventure sports.

Day free to enjoy the Kangra Valley. This area is ideal for walks, especially along the River Beas. Explore Pragpur and Garli, with their old houses or take a trip on the Kangra narrow gauge railway.
