This auspicious Islamic day is celebrated by offering Namaz six times instead of the customary five and dressing up in new clothes and holding gala feasts. After a month of fasting, this feast is really one to look forward to and usually the Qurbani (sacrifice) of either a goat, sheep or in rare cases a camel is made to appease Allah and ravished by his devotees.
