Amidst a grandiose background vendors sell intricate handicrafts and traditional puppets smile at passers-by. The Hampi festival is truly a cultural fiesta coupled with a 15 km illuminated stretch of opulent monuments that stand on the banks of the Tungabhadra, charming visitors.
