The River Betwa and Jamuni along with the Orchha wildlife sanctuary provide it with complete beauty and character.

During the Tour:
• Visit Bundelkhand Riverside, Orchha which is situated on the banks of the Mystical River Betwa in a forested estate of 50 acres.
• Take the Orchha Scenic Float, a Rafting safari that covers a total distance of 8 kms commencing from the Kanchana ghat and winding down under the low lying bridge through several thrilling rapids onto the Shiv ghat 3 kms away.
• You can break here for breakfast/lunch or snacks on a rocky island, but if you are of a more adventurous type you can carry on for the second leg of the safari covering another 5 kms up to the Note ghat.
• Soon the Betwa is joined by the Jamuni River resulting in more water volume faster speed and thrilling rapids.
• Enjoy an unparallel rafting experience in the heart of India.

TOUR START/END: Our guide can fix a taxi for you to get back to the hotel or we can also arrange for your pickup and drop from/to your hotel with an extra cost. Please write to us for cost.

EXCLUSIONS: Items of a personal nature, tips / gratuities for guide & driver.

WHEN: Every day at 10AM. Prior reservation required. Timings may vary slightly depending on weather / season. We will confirm the exact start time along with tour logistics once you book the tour.

WHAT TO WEAR: Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress modestly during the Tour.

TOUR NOTES: Please note, the food on the street is delicious but does not meet national or international hygiene standards. Although we only go to very popular places, with good local reputations, these stalls do not cook using bottled water or wash their utensils with it. So eating street food is always risky. If you prefer not to risk it, but still want to see what it’s all about, then at the end of the walk, we can take you to Haldirams where you can try chaats and other popular dishes in safe and hygienic conditions.
