In contrast to the tour of the Qutb Complex, this experience makes you travel through the 3 centuries reign of the Mogul Empire. The Red Fort, the last of the Mogul forts was built in the 1600s and is testimony to the 300 year old era when the empire was considered one of the richest in the world. This fort was built just when the fortunes of the kingdom were on a rise and so was the Mogul creativity.
Considered the ultimate seat of power, this fort has been home to a succession of highly successful emperors right from Shah Jahan to Bahadur Shah. A walk through this magnificent complex makes you reminisce the grim battles that may have been fought here include the Siege of Delhi and the taking of the Kashmir Date. 7 years ago, this site was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
