The Kuthiala Soods Ancestral Home

History has documented the fact that the village was first founded by the local Kuthiala Soods. They set up Pragpur in an effort to honor the memory of Princess Prag Dei of the Jaswan regents. The ancestral property of the Soods stands perfectly preserved to this day, as a prominent place of interest. The heritage building is now over 3 centuries old, making it a fond reminder of the grandeur that the founders of Pragpur once lived in.

Tourism in Pragpur

The 18th century man-made pond attracts a lot of visitors, as does the beautiful Radha Krishna shrine in town. Built well over two centuries ago, Nehar Bhawan is a fabulous example of region’s endemic architectural style.
