GOA – for a Latin American entertainment with 145 kms of an emerald palm fringed coastline, smart modern hotels and resort, excellent seafood, river cruise on the Mandovi River with cock-tail and dinner.

JODHPUR – the medieval & mystic castles, palaces & forts, a poetess Princess Mirabai, who left her husband the Rana, for a greater call, the bewitching strains of Lord Krishna’s flute. Its her anklets that seem to tinkle to the rhythm of the desert winds that choreograph the dancing sands of Jodhpur, the jewel of the desert, capital of the fiefdom of Marwar, the proud clan of the Rathores who established an empire here, found by Rao Jodha. The Meharangarh Fort, its palaces are replete with exquisitely painted walls, using mirror and stained glass, Umaid Bhawan Palace, one of the largest and splendid private residences in the world.

UDAIPUR – literally means “ city of sunrise “, but it is n’t just the sun that rises here, it’s the marble dreamscape of a floating palace that seems to emerge out of the waters of Lake Pichola. Two hundred years before the city of Udaipur was actually found by the Maharans of Chittorgarh, as a fiefdom of Mewar, Lake Pichola was artificially hollowed-out in the 14th century to create a lake. The fairy tale Lake Palace Hotels stands within the Lake Pichola. The City Palace across the lake is the largest palace in Rajasthan and houses two mahnificent heritage palace hotels, Fateh Prakash & Shiv Niwas.
Udaipur is a garden city- Sahelion ki Bari with fountains & statuette is a pleasant spot. Nearby one can visit Rajsamand & Jaisamand lakes,a bird waters delight. The carved marble wonders of Eklinji, Nagda, Nathdwara and Ranakpur temples

SHOPPING – India the proverbial shoppers paradise gives an added incentive for the guest. The bazzars and shopping malls have treasures ranging from the most exclusive hand knotted silk & woolen carpets, intricately woven silk & brocade fabrics, dazzling jewellery, artifacts in marble, silver, sandal wood, papier mache, pichwai hand painted paintings, mirror work clothings, Kashmir carved walnut wood furniture, brass decorative items, the road side kiosks offer cheap trinkets & souveniers, cool cotton clothings etc. The range of exotica is very wide indeed. More than shopping, it is the bargaining in India which adds the extra bit of fun and excitement to the traveler.
